Project overview: Beijing Universal Studio Grand Hotel, located at the entrance of Beijing Universal Studios, is the first ultra-five star hotel named after Universal brand in the world. It adopts classic Spanish style in appearance and is with a GFRC volume of 16,000 square meters.
In order to achieve the color effect of streamline transition, there are as many as 12 kind of GFRC integral colors, with little differences among each color and is of several dark colors, which brings great challenges to color variation control. Shantai has developed an elaborate color variation control system to achieve uniform color while perfectly presented the delicate texture of GFRC.
This project has adopted BIM technology since the Commencement of the project. It has been perfectly integrated with BIM technology from engineering design to construction deduction, from GRC production to delivery and installation.
It is so impressive and magnificent after completion of Beijing Universal Grand Hotel, which got high praise from the Chinese and American clients and is the model of GRC curtain wall engineering.
