Algerian Mosque
The Great Mosque can withstand a magnitude 9 earthquake, with a height of 250 meters breaking the record for the tallest building in Africa. This will be a great project left by Chinese companies in Africa. The project is located on the southern coast of the Mediterranean Sea, along the Algiers Bay. It was jointly constructed by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau and China Construction Algeria Company, with a total contract amount of 1.5 billion US dollars.
